August 28, 2024 — Today, the company's newly built laminate workshop welcomed its first production line piece of equipment—a standard-size laminator (2.44m × 1.22m)—which has been successfully installed, debugged, and put into trial production. The successful commissioning of this equipment marks the new workshop's transition from the infrastructure construction phase to the equipment installation and debugging phase, laying a solid foundation for subsequent large-scale production.

Equipment Positioning: Standard Size, Stable and Reliable

The laminator installed this time is a standard size commonly used in the industry, suitable for producing conventional PVC laminates, and features good process stability and ease of operation. During the equipment installation process, the engineering team strictly followed the process layout to ensure that it forms a production line synergy with the large laminator (2m × 8m) that will be installed later, accommodating both standard products and customized large-size products.

“This equipment is a crucial component of our production line, representing stable and reliable standardized production capabilities,” said the equipment engineer. “We completed the entire process from arrival to commissioning in just one week, demonstrating the team’s efficient collaboration and thorough preparation.”

Trial Production Smooth and Reliable

At 3 PM, with the collaboration of the equipment supplier’s technical personnel, the first standard-sized laminate was successfully produced. From board loading to finished product removal, the entire process was automated, and the product’s surface flatness, bonding strength, and edge integrity all met the predetermined standards.

“The successful trial production verified the matching degree between the equipment performance and process parameters, and also accumulated experience for the subsequent installation of large-scale laminators,” said the production manager. “This standard laminator will mainly be used for the production of small and medium-sized products, forming a ‘large-small collaboration, flexible scheduling’ layout with the large laminator in the future, further improving order response capabilities.”

Overall Workshop Progress Smoothly

With the installation of the first piece of equipment completed, the supporting facilities such as water, electricity, and gas lines in the new workshop are also basically in place. The 9-meter-high workshop space provides ample space for the subsequent installation of large equipment. The large laminator (2m x 8m) is expected to be installed next month, and the overall production line construction is progressing steadily according to plan.

"The rapid commissioning of standard equipment gives us even more confidence in the subsequent construction," said the project manager. "Next, we will advance the foundation construction and installation preparation for the large laminator to ensure that the two production lines can achieve joint trial operation in the fourth quarter."

Outlook: Coordination of Large and Small, Capacity Upgrade

Of the two production lines designed for the new workshop, the standard laminator will handle the stable output of regular orders, while the soon-to-be-installed 2m x 8m large laminator will focus on the production of large-format, customized products. The combination of the two will enable the company to form a broader and faster-responding product supply system, significantly enhancing its market competitiveness.
